Poplar is a beautiful wood that has great character, but it is not as hard as other woods.  If you’re not using it to serve food, then display it and enjoy it!  If you plan to serve from it, we would just recommend having all food prepped before going on the board to minimize any potential for scratches from knives.  Otherwise, use it the way you like!

All boards are finished with a food grade mineral oil, followed by a food grade wood conditioner that is a combination of mineral oil, carnauba wax and beeswax.
