WHO WE ARE
We are Joe & Allison Brock and we started Southern Edge Woodworks as a wood shop that specializes in creating custom charcuterie boards, located in the small town of Fuquay Varina, NC. Our boards are locally sourced and crafted out of kiln dried live edge wood slabs from several different species such as - walnut, maple, hickory, and gum. We aslo offer custom engraving which can make each board truly one of a kind, either as a special gift or for yourself!

ABOUT US
My love of woodworking goes back to when I was a teenager, and began working for a cabinet shop after school. I continued there through college and afterwards transitioned to a custom residential cabinet shop doing cabinet design for close to 10 years. Since 2014, I’ve been an estimator at a high end custom home builder in the Raleigh area.

Woodworking has been a hobby of mine, but more importantly a passion for over 20 years. So my wife and I decided to turn that passion into a small business and began Southern Edge Woodworks, LLC. Charcuterie boards came naturally with her love of design and entertaining matched with my love of working with wood. We are thrilled to be able to work together and share our creations with you.
